What is my Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) and how do I access it?

To access your RESP, you will need to provide proof of your enrollment in college or university. This proof can be your schedule, acceptance letter, and/or the same documentation you provided to your worker to receive the extra $500 from the Ready, Set, Go program. Once you have collected your proof documentation, reach out via email to access your RESP.

Important Information

  • Your RESP is available until you are 25-years-old.
  • If you have a Children’s Aid Society RESP (not your personal RESP), it will expire if you don’t use it.
